ABOUT JASMINE DARE
Jasmine Dare is a televsion, film and theatre performer, soprano and dialect coach currently residing in Melbourne, Australia.
Jasmine's love of performing started at the age of 6 where she began finding any possible opportunity to sing and perform. Jasmine's keen interest in accents also began at the age of 6, when her family decided to travel around America for 6 months. With her natural ear for picking up music and sounds, she was able to mimic the accent of the locals perfectly, and enjoyed fooling strangers by pretending she too was a local.
Jasmine began training and performing at the age of 7 at the Johnny Young Talent School, where she developed her interest in musical theatre and became a triple threat. Jasmine has since been cast in many musical theatre roles, including; Jenny Dillingham in CLOC's Aspects of Love which was staged at the National Theatre in 2011, Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls, Hodel in Babirra's 'Fiddler on the Roof', Tup-Tim in Nova's The King & I & Yum-Yum in Hot Mikado.
After finishing high school Jasmine began studying acting at Film & Television Studio International, whilst continuing her vocal training studying classical voice with renown opera singer Jon Weaving.
Whilst studying Film & Television Studio International Jasmine was cast as Kristy Harty in the telemovie Screentime production of "Underbelly - Tell them Lucifer was Here."
Jasmine currently studies method acting under the tutorledge of Peter Kalos, and trains vocally with Adam Wood.
Jasmine also teaches American & English dialects to various acting students around Melbourne, and is excited for what 2016 will bring.
